Hungary is located Europe, or more precisely in Central Europe. It’s bordered by Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. It’s considered to be in the heart of Europe.

It belonged to Eastern block countries after WWII. But since May 1, 2004 Hungary has been a member state of the European Union.
