Hello, I recently had sex with my girlfriend, and used a condom. However, I pulled out a bit late, and the condom slipped off and was stuck in her. I'm not sure whether any fluids came in contact with her, but to make sure, we immediately went to a pharmacy and got "Plan B" for her to take. It was taken within the hour, and the second pill was taken in 12 hours. What are the chances that she can be pregnant? Thank you.

Thank you for all the help. Is there any signs or symptoms I should look out for to know for sure that she's not pregnant? Her period should be sometime next week.

Hi! It can take up to 48 hours for a sperm to attach itself to the egg. If she took the pills exactly the way she was supposed to, it should've "flushed" her female system. If any egg was hanging around and waiting to be fertilized, it should've been washed away with everything else. There is always a .01% chance with anything, however, it would be VERY unlikely if she took it that fast afterwards and took it the correct way. Good luck!

Well if she took the morning after pill then it is not likely she is pregnant. If you are really worried about it wait until she has or doesn't have her period. Then after that get her to take a test. It will most likely be neg. Good luck.

PS. Did the condom have spermicide in it? If so that will decrease the chances of her being pregnant as well.

The morning after pill is 85% effective against pregnancy if taken w/in the first 48 hours. You should be okay, but you should ask your gf to go on birth control in case this happens again.

the plan b pill is like taking 10 birth control pills at once. What is does is actually make her egg too slippery for the sperm to enter. It is completely safe, and she will not get pregnant. You can take the pill up to 72 hours after intercourse.

The Plan B pill should have caused her to have a period immediately. If not, there's always a risk that she's pregnant.
However, I would say your chances of her actually being pregnant are .000000000001%.

Since you took the Plan B promptly and correctly, the chances are very small. You can never say no, but you probably do not have to worry about a pregnancy.

pretty slim.......plan b or the 'morning after pill' prevents the egg from implanting in the uterus. If she took it within 72 hours(which she did), I say you have no need to worry.

well if the pill worked, it caused her to have a period. if that happened....the chances are VERY rare.

perhaps your g/f should be on the birth control pill as well.

my best bet is that she might not be pregnant...but theres no safe zone..i suggest that she goes on birthcontrol and you should use a condom...that way you will know for sure there will be no babies in the future!
