It's just a room in my house and it's only for 1-2 years and I don't plan on renting out to anyone other than friends after that, but i can't seem to find the guidelines to doing this online

is that a receipt..
you declare all your income (if you get caught..withholding income..the tax department is nasty)
do they need a receipt??
give them one..just needs date..price, address..and a signature..
i write receipts on the back of a business card...
(non contract receipt???)
