Yes. The legendary Cyclone roller coaster will still operate although.
But, what I read made it seem like the new owners are going to try and make it into a new "park", whether that means amusement park or city park, I don't know. But Cyclone will not be torn down. In fact, its a National Historic Landmark, so it cannot be torn down.

Coney Island (Astroland) is not connected to Six Flags in any way. If the park does shut down, I believe that the Cyclone will still operate under an independent owner/operator. If I'm not mistaken, that ride is a Historic Landmark and protected from destruction.
Note: Magic Mountain is not only NOT being sold, it will continue to be operated by Six Flags for the foreseeable future.
