No I do not think that it is weird to like the Mafia thing...lol, I think allot of people do, that's why there are so many movies with the mafia theme to them. Look how many people watch " Sopranos" I think that the Asian culture is very interesting. I have read allot about their past history. They can be very cold toward there own people. I guess I would have to say that the culture that I am most impressed with would be the culture and life style of the people from ' Belize" I'm not even really sure what their faith is, I think that it is Buddhist. I just know I like the way that they all try to live so peacefully with each other, and that they are mostly a peaceful culture with great food.....at least that's what the travel channel has shown me. Wouldn't it be great to travel all over and visit with different cultures? I am Italian, so I like the Italian culture too.My Grandmother use to throw Italian curses at her neighbors. I don't mean swearing...like real old Italian spirit curses. lol, it was great to hear her speak all the old Italian when she was mad.

I like Italian culture as well but I guess that's becuase my girlfriend is Italian (the Mafia thing is only in certain parts of Italy - most notably Siciliy).

I love the African culture where people come first. In the west it's all about money and self but in Africa (most of it anyway) everyone is exceptionally friendly and will bend over backwards to help out.

Last year we were in Ghana and had an accident on a motorbike, it wasn't serious but within moments we were surrounded by people offering to help. We were taken in and looked after, at the same time two men wheeled the bike away and returned with it about an hour later fully repaired, serviced and cleaned up.

I've been fortunate to travel to many countries and it seems that the less people have the more they are willing to give. In general, the poorer countries are the friendliest and most hospitable ones.

Australia and New Zealand are exceptions, they're both developed but have retained the friendliness. The way of life is far more relaxed, the people are easy going and you're always made welcome.

Oh there are a few, Scottish, because they seem so up beat, and the guys wear kilts! And Scotland just looks like a beautiful place to visit. Hispanic, because they have alot of family, and are always throwing a fiesta, and they have so many ancient ruins in you could possibly explore. Plus the food! Italian is intriguing, the foods great, I can't pick just one!

I like the Japanese culture, I admire a culture that shows discipline for ones self being, the pride they take for being alive in this word and the steps they take for making things better for them self and there loved ones, I guess they inherit there respect from the older generation, self esteem goes a long way, not only that they can sure cook and live a long happy life, I love to cook and these days I see myself turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so.

I agree with some of those who have answered your question, I also like Italian and Japanese cultures. However, it would be very difficult to find only one to meet my tastes.
I would like to know more about some African cultures, as well as about Inuit people (a.k.a Eskimo).
