PDF was designed to produce an unchangeable file format. It's *meant* to be unchangeable by other than the author.
BUT... if you have Acrobat (the full program not the Reader cutdown version) you can edit pdf files or turn them back into documents. Acrobat isn't cheap.
You can find shareware utilities that will allow you to edit PDF files... or you can scrape the text out (use highlighting, copying and pasting into a word processor), make it look the same in terms of font and format, and then use one of the shareware PDF maker programs to convert it back into a PDF.
I use one called 'pdf factory' - it acts as a print device in Windows... so you print your document, select pdf factory as the printer and it makes a pdf file on your disk. It works fine for me.

u can change the pdf document by using PDF Grabber or an application which i am not able to remember now but sometimes they have passwords without which editing of the docs is not possible
