When I mean decent I mean a 4 or 5 bedroom house, with a large kitchen, and living room. A inground swimming pool outside, and with 31/2 bathroms. Witch Grantite, and marble countertops? 255,322,191 GPB converted into US Dollars it's $500,000.00 dollars. And over here in the US you can find great beautilful houses like my description. So anyone from the UK who can answer that, or anyone really that would be great. I plan on moving to London someday.

I think you need to redo your sums. There are roughly 2 US$ to the pound and certainly a mere $500,000.00 could not buy a house of that description anywhere in the UK, let alone in London, where it would buy only a very modest house. If you insist on all those bedrooms and a pool (very rare, even among the rich), perhaps this will give you an indication of the price involved. http://www.foxtons.co.uk/search?md5=cd7e2cf2e783fb98895f2915649b21a5&search_form=map&per_page=10&order_by=price%20desc&search_type=SS&property_id=6248&submit_type=search Remember to multiply by 2 and allow for stamp duty.

I was there in 2005 on business. We flew into London-Gatwick and drove M25 around London, going north to Cambridge. Talking to the locals in England, that kind of money (255,322,191.00 pounds) would not even buy a 1 bedroom flat in London. Real Estate is so outrageous that many singles and younger couples have been forced to move out of the city. entirely.

Sorry, but 255,322,191 pounds is about 500 million US dollars. I think you might get Buckingham Palace for that.
