NetMeeting allows the other person to view what you are doing on your computer. I don't know about MSN Remote Assistance.

If you both have Windows XP, you can conntect remotely to the other person's computer (with their permission), and manipulate their computer. In windows, press F1 for help and look for Remote Access. It'll tell you how to do it.

Have fun!

If you both have MSN Messenger installed (both with current versions) the person on one end can start a remote assistance session with the other. I use this with my family very often but you both need to have the latest version of MSN messenger.

If you click on the remote assistance it should guide you through it, and you will be able to view the other persons screen and help fix their problem.

I find Logmein much easier to use and faster.
Just get it installed on the comp you want to view/control.
You can view and control the computer from any browser
