If he lived with you all year, you provided more than half of his support, and his gross income for the year was under $3300, then you can probably claim him as a dependent. But you can NOT use him as a qualifying dependent for claiming head of household, you'd have to file as single.

If you provide the majority of support for your fiance, then you can claim head of household. If you do not provide the majority of the financial support, you may not claim him/her.
However, it requires that your fiance's income, whatever it be, be included, just like if a teenager is working a job, they still are claimed by their parent. It's the same concept.
