is it right for a 13 year old to be dating a 26 year old and moving in with him.. im not a mom but i have afriend who is 13 and living with her 26 year old boyfriend. i want to tell her she is making the wrong choice. but i was just wondering if it is right. his father is a policeman and is allowing his son to be dating my 13 year old friend. but i just want to let her know that she is making a HUGE MISTAKE> thank you alll very much. love you all.

I don't know the details of this situation, but to me, that just sounds wrong. And its also highly illegal if they are in a sexual relationship, which i'm guessing they are. I think you have a very good reason to be concerned, and you seem like a very caring friend.
The question i'm asking myself is what's wrong with this guy that he can't find a girlfriend is own age?
If i was in your shoes, i would be looking very seriously at this policeman father of his. Does he know that she's only 13? Cause he's allowing satatory (or however you spell it) rape.
I think maybe you should talk to your mum or dad about it, don't confront the couple or his father yourself, cause i'm guessing you are 13 as well?
Get your parents involved, totally. Trust me, once they hear whats going on, they will be just as concerned as you.
Maybe your parents can talk to the boyfriend's policeman father?
Or go to the police themselves?

I can not believe someone would ask this question. Of course it’s not ok a 13 and 26 year old that is illegal. What the heck would a 26 year grown man want with a 13 year old child. Someone should call the authorities.

From a Mother's point of view.... WHAT IS A 13 YEAR OLD DOING DATING...MUCH LESS DATING A 26 YEAR OLD MAN!!!! not only is it wrong.. it is illegal in most states. They both need their heads examined and their parents need serious help if they think this is an okay situation.

With his father being a police officer then he should be the first one to tell him to stay away from your friend. They don't call underage girls jail-bait for nothing. I am wondering where in the h*ll her parents are during all of this???? I have a 13 year old daughter and it would be a cold day in h*ll before she had ANYTHING to do with a 26 year old!!!!!!!

Ya its wrong. Morally and legally. Some 13 year olds don't even have their period, so they shouldn't be moving in with some 26 year old man. That man = pedophile and needs help. If he is really in love with her and not her preteen body, he can wait 7 years.

Dont you realize that if they are sexually active that is concidered rape besides that it is morally wrong he is old enough to be her father its not right , does the father know how old she is if he is a cop he has a responsibility to put a stop to this! does her parents know if not then if your really a good friend & you care tell them tell someone so something can be done to stop this from happening he will ruin her life!

I would call the police. HE and his father should be taken to court. That is rediculous! She is not old enough to make those kinds of decisions and Children's services should be notified rather than the police so that they can file the charges against he and his father.

I'm with you isabella- she is making the wrong choice- but unfortunately she won't find that out until later in life when she is regreting that decision. That is disgusting and it is considered stat. rape. She is not an adult and he is. He is breaking the law by having relations with her and his father is breaking the law by allowing it.

First of all shes NOT old enough to decide anything!! She is a pre-teen..If the fathers a police man he NEEDS to go to jail for allowing this to happen...call the police..its illegal...
