I answer, and then they hang up, or it usually happens when I am away.. What are numbers that start with 000-000- then various numbers?

could also be a new pre-paid cell-phone...it usually takes up to a week to put your name into the data-base!

Calling card! When I was over seas my family knew when I was calling because they saw all the zeros on the caller ID.

They are probably telemarketers trying to sell you something.
I get them all the time as well...
try putting your number on the do no call list. It helps a ton!
