What are you wanting? Internet access? If so, you can get a cell phone that is Internet capable and a data cable to hook up to your computer or laptop. You can then use your phone as a modem to the Internet. You will need to check with your cell phone provider on what the data costs will be. Some have plans that allow for unlimited Internet, but they will be over and above the cost of the normal phone minutes.

I am not sure of the question. If you are looking for phone service, got to your state PUC website and find out who offers services in your area. The phone company should be able to install the phone lines for you.
If you are wanting cable, you can get satelite without getting a phone line (I don't have a phone line but I do have satelite).

for phones, get a cell phone - you can shop cell companies on the internet. for internet - how are you accessing yahoo answers if you have not telephone line or cable in your house? you will have to have one or the other for internet access in your home. for television programming & movie channels - check into dish networks in your area, again you can search those locally on the internet.

alright they just had a special report on saving money and the first option on the list was to get rid of the landline phone and get a celll... you will pry pay 35-45 a month on a house phone when you can get a cell phone for easily that much.. my suggestion is to look into cell phones and conpair it to your landline option.
