Babies develop differently
they put on a majority of weight in the last trimester I read as you're baby grows and strictly as an average baby should weigh about 10 oz or so in 5th month u r almost there so u may be a bit ahead if it was drastic the doc wouldve changed the due date You may have a better idea of wheather or not it will be a ten pounder in the latter part of the pregnancy congrats on a healthy growing baby!!!

According to the link that I listed below, a baby is usually around 8 1/2 oz at 19 weeks, so I wouldn't worry about it.
I'm also 19 weeks..due June 22nd (second baby)
Good luck!!

according to the website that i am following my pregnancy on at 19 weeks the baby would be about 8 1/2 oz so looks like your baby is only 1/2 oz different so i would say that is normal.

It's too early too tell. Ultrasound guestimates are not a 100%. I went in for an ultrasound 3 days before I delivered and they said my son was 7lb 6 oz. ............He was born at 9lb 14oz. So don't stress it. But 9oz is a good weight for a 20 week ultrasound

It sounds pretty normal to me but even if she was a ten-pounder she would still be beautiful.

That's normal. But there is also nothing wrong with them ten pounders....my son was guessed at 10.2 on my due date and weighed 10.6 when born.

It's normal. My youngest daughter weighed 16oz. at 18weeks. Of course she had complications and had to be delivered early. She was born at 33.3 weeks and weighed 3lb. 7.4oz. Had I carried to term they estimated she would have been 7-7.5 lbs.
in the normal range. Good luck!

Yes this is normal!!!!!! All mine were 8.4 and 8.9 at births and even though they were pretty big, everything went smooth and easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He or she is going to weigh what is in the gene make up from you and your husband!!!!!!!! My husband weighed 6 at birth and I weighed 4 (early) so do not necessarily beleive it will weigh what you did, but dr.'s think that helps in determing what it'll weigh!!! For me, every man in my side of the family are tall and weigh a good bit at birth, so my dads family made mine weigh what they weighed! Do not worry, you'll love a nice size one as much as a petite one!!!!!!!!!!!

according to www.babycenter.com, at 19 weeks the average fetus weight is 8.47 ounces. Check out babycenter for lots of great info and answers to your questions, the site was an invaluable resource to me during my pregnancy.
Good luck!
