There is still a possibility but very very slim. Birth contol and condoms just decrease that risk. That doesn't mean pregnancy is non existent.

There is no 100% method of contraception. Even when used properly by adults, condoms and birth control pills only have effectiveness of 90-93%. If you use both, then you are probably somehwere in the neighborhood of 95-97%.
When effectiveness rates of birth control are figured, they mean the percent chance that you will not get pregnant during a year after having sex for a year.

Yes, I was on birth control when I got pregnant. There is always a chance the condom could break, anything could happen.

I can tell you that it is not something that either one of you should waste any time worrying about.
You are being as careful as it is possible to be.
The only thing that you could do that would make it less likely to get pregnant would be to totally abstain.
The people who told you that the only 100% effective form of birth control is abstinence are correct.
The chances of your girfriend being pregnant are very, very tiny. But, as I said, with any form of birth control there will always be that one that belongs in the Guinness Book of World Records!
Congratulations on being mature and responsible by chosing to use birth control.
Take care

BC is 99.9% and a condom is 97%. You have about a 3 in 100,000 chance or so. Remember, if she misses a day or you aren't using it properly, the chances get a LOT higher. If you are really paranoid, you can also work around her cycle (I think it's like day 1-day 9, then day 15-p). She's fertile for about 3 days, and your sperm can survive for 2, so just skip that 5-7 day band if you want to add protection.

It's always possible but it's rare that people who use that much birth control get pregnant. Good for you!

Yes, she can. If she forget to take her pill, if she is using the pill. Or don't change the patch on time, or don't go get her shot on time. And if your condom break because it was old, been washed in your pants, or you damaged it while putting it on. Neither one is a 100% guarantee.

The ONLY sure fire birth control is total abstinence. It's sad but true, all other methods have a failure rate.
SURPRISE!!

Not likely, but possible. Both methods are pretty effective if done properly, and combined you should be fairly safe, but one slips by even the best goalie every now and then. (Also, it might not be yours--you'd know better than I if that's a possibility.)
