No - I don't see that as a point of contention.
Personally I wouldn't vote for Hillary for any reason, her being a woman is the least of them. I do not like her policies , I do not like her voting record or the fact she changes her opinions after votes -when with a bit of research she could of made intelligent decisions.

No. I would vote for her because I liked her husband and his policy, and I know she was part of that. I would vote for her because she is VERY smart, cares about the issues that effect me and has had every skeleton thouroughly aired during her husbands campaign (even a few that were false) and proved herself to be someone that had it together.

I would not vote for Laura Bush were she to run because she has never done anything. She taught school for a few years and then became a stay at home mom and political wife, She helped GW come up with no child left behind and the TAKS test here in Texas and it has weakened our public schools. She is not her own person in this presidency to be respected on her own merit and Hillary was.

And Hillary has gone on to prove herself as Senator. She is not just a 3 starred moron who thought hey guess what I will do today. Yes she is a woman, a mother, and that is part of her, but it is not the reason she will get my vote. It is just something as a woman to take a small measure of pride in. That someone of my gender can get that far and still be someone I can look up to . Still be a good wife and mother. Not lose sight of the families or feel like she has to come off masculine to be well thought of. Just something that makes me say " hey look at that, way to go."

I wouldn't vote for a person to the most powerful chair in the world just to 'see' their gender or race as the Commander in Chief. If they are qualified, I will vote for them, no matter what race or gender.

She become picked to energise the conservative base and to spotlight Obama's snub of Hillary. The %. received't get many votes of Hillary's supporters notwithstanding it is going to reminds them what befell and reduce their enthusiasm . that is a form of an undo of the efforts for team spirit on the democratic convention.

Any woman who would vote for a woman simply because she is a woman should not have the right to vote.

that would be the dumbest reason to vote for her

On the otherhand she has some qualifications that would be impressive if she were a man. A voter might possibly consider her in those grounds.

No. Yes it would be nice to have a woman lead the USA, but If she doesn't share common political and economic beliefs w/ the public she shouldn't be elected.

Absolutely not. I think she is a poor role model for women and I will not be voting for her regardless of party preference.
