I am not sure what your question is. Water is not a chemical reaction. Water is a substance or could be a molecule. When water is taken apart and revealed as hydrogen and oxygen, it could be the result of a reaction. A chemical reaction is one where the basic makeup of any substance is changed physically or chemically from it original composition. Lighting a match is a good example.
