Thats pretty scarey to think we drink that stuff isn't it? I remember when I was a kid in about the 4th grade we did this experiment with cola. Someone brought in a tooth that had fallen out and we put it in a cup with cola and watched it rot over just a few days.

Use only water to soften the guano, then wash the car with car wash mix that you can get from any auto parts store and many department stores. Don't use Coke unless you like sticky doors and ants.

Coke is messy; soda water will work better and is less messy. The dissolved CO2 creates a weak acid which will help remove corrosion.

It's the acid level.
I've a cousin who's in construction. He uses coke to soften up concrete if it's poured in the wrong area, or he needs to redo it.

i assume you are on about the brand of drink?

I don't know about it cleaning a car battery as the sulphuric acid in there is far far stronger than that of coke.

Carbonated drinks are acidic due to the disolved carbon dioxide in the water forming carbonic acid.
