When you have a one-year old, age really doesn't matter. It is natural to feel an urge to have a stable environment for your child - you should embrace it. If you are married and you want to have more children, then do it. If you aren't married, I wouldn't suggest doing it, it would be too much to handle by yourself.

what? You're 22 and have a child and NOW you're ready to settle down and start "your own" family? You seem to have missed something...you ALREADY started your family when you got pregnant with your daughter. And, with a child you should already consider yourself a responsible parent.

What do you mean "want to settle down this early"? You should have settled down at 19 according to what you've done already.
It seems strange that you say you want to move on with your life but say nothing about a man in your future yet you want children. The "man" should be paramount before you choose to have children.

Get some education, support your child, get a career, pay for your car totally, pay your bills and forget about having children for now.

I think you are one of the rare younger women in this world who is at ease with being a mother and settling down. You have what they call an "old soul". Your more mature than women your own age. And for you, it isn't abnormal it's just rare. Finding the rare mate that will stay with you a life time is what will be tough. Take your time and enjoy some of life's little pleasures first. Because if you don't, later on in life you will know you have missed out.

Depends on who you are. I've seen 23 year olds have kids and settle down. I was never one of them, but I'm sure that's the right path for some. If you truly feel that's what you want for your life, go for it! Prove all those others wrong.

I think that is a great age to settle down and have a family. Just because you settle down doesn't mean your life ends. It is just the beginning.
GO FOR IT.

No, I don't think you're too young. Well, you already have the family started. Go out and get yourself a man to complete the family, if you're not with her dad. I'm a hopeless romantic, so if you find someone who you really love and can spend the rest of your life with, go for it. I would suggest using caution as you wouldn't want to get a loser involved with your daughter and leave you both in tears.

Well, I personally dont think there's anything wrong with it. However, I'm 21 and happily married for over a year, and married the man I lived with since the day I turned 18. SO! Maybe I'm just a little prejudiced... LoL. But no, I think it's normal ~ if it's not, let me know!! LoL.
