Is this directed to anyone in particular?
It feels like I am the only young one (19) around that loves the Old School R&B, especially MOTOWN. I also love the funk and soul music of yesterday. The O'Jays, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Luther Vandross, Tina Turner, Barry White (she and I listen to him every night), and many more.
It is very upsetting to hear how people talk about Alicia Keys being "soul music," not to mention how disrespectful it is of the real souyul musicians. How discusting! These people MUST listen to Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, and Teddy Pendergrass to really understand what I mean.
That explains my music favorotes - Old School R&B, especially the pop (Motown)!
