You could get a Nissan Skyline GTR for that kind of money. Probably on an N or P reg. Very quick, great handling and lots of electronic gizmos.

If you are talking about a REAL car that you can drive everyday, be dependable and won't snap your spine on every crack on the road then consider importing a good, used Corvette. The damn things are as close to an actual race car as you buy and still drive 160 mph with the AC on and the CD blasting. I'm not especially a fan of the Vette but I have to admit they are pure race bred, well balanced, runs rock soild for over 150,000 miles and won't cost your kids college fund to maintain it. Above all this, you will seldom see another on the road or never lose it in a crowded parking lot.

For 10,0000 (that is what you wrote) if the comma is in the wrong place that translates into words as one hundred thousand pounds. I would think that you can buy quite a reasonably fast car for that sort of money.

buy an old citroen ax, have a 2 litre turbo conversion. It'll make mince of most 100k super cars. No joke.

An old Lotus Esprit turbo or Porsche 911 turbo. Both good for around 175mph.
PS - OR YOU CAN GET A 200MPH MOTORBIKE AND HAVE ALOT OF CHANGE!
