A friend of mine said " No matter how old you get farts are still funny!"
Ands its true. Even if some one doesnt laugh right away they will later when recalling the story/ situation.
I dont know why exactly I would safley assume it is because no matter how old we grow there is still a little bit of immaturity that we retain :)

my dog that was asleep jumped 10ft in the air when i farted and that made me laugh so hard!
