WAS RUINED BY THE KKK AND NEO-NAZIS! if they hadn't of smeared racism and superiority IN THEIR VERSION OF WHITE PRIDE, some whites could celebrate their white pride without guilt! Why DO SOME WHITES BLAME THE I CAN'T CELEBRATE WHITE PRIDE ON MINORITIES? it's the KKK's fault. They are the FANATICS who make white pride look bad blame it on them , not minorities.

The questions are why do some people blame minorities for not celebrating white pride? Why don't some whites realize that the KKK ruined white pride for them?

that is an EXCELLENT question, kudos to you.
i think a reason that white people don't generally celebrate white pride is, in addition to your opinion (which i completely agree with), that many don't feel they have the right to. historically,at least in the western world and parts of the eastern, white people (the british, germans, french, and spanish among the most guilty) have caused a great deal of the ethnic dichotomy and loss of singular cultural identity seen in many colonized and post-colonial nations around the world, trinidad and india to name two. i think, but am not entirely sure, that japan was the major colonizing force in the east. (post-colonialism, cultural dichotomies, and apartheids are becoming a HUGE literary movement now.) so i think a big portion of it is "white guilt." i'm not saying that white people today should or should not feel guilty, as the burden is on our ancestors and the living who perpetuate these ideas, namely the colonizers of the past and the KKK of recent history and today.
so i think a lot of it is that white people don't want to rub a past of hatred and ignorance in the faces of the people who our ancestors caused a lot of the current problems for. at least that's how i feel personally. i was telling my girlfriend yesterday about a field trip i took several years ago with my high school to Cherokee, NC. i told her i enjoyed the trip and had fun, but that i felt like i should never go back. as a white male, i felt ashamed to be there and witness first-hand what effect my ancestors' actions had on a single culture (not to mention the hundreds of other native american cultures, and possibly thousands of others around the world). and i felt like the Cherokees resented my being there, as if i were making a spectacle of them, which honestly is what was being done: a once powerful and noble people reduced to a side show.
that, in a nutshell, is why i don't celebrate white pride.
the white male is basically the most hated person in the world, and i'm well aware of this. i make an attempt to set another standard with which the world can get a fresh view of humanity. but that's just me and my singular effort.

I am non-white, or a minority in this country. I don't think any minority have a problem with you being proud of who and what you are. But in the past the only time that we have heard "White Pride" is right behind "white power." Until recently, I have never seen a time when white pride was not the selling argument for supremacist groups. Pride is great. Yet, in the past we have seen that pride has been the catalyst for hate crimes and followed by racial slurs toward other ethnic groups. We do not dislike white pride. We do not trust it. Historically it has not been white pride at all, but supremacy. If you want to be proud of who and what you are, then by all means be proud of your heritage It would actually do the country good to see white pride that is not a cover for racism. If we saw that white pride was simply just pride for who and what you are without the rest, it would be ok. I am sure that I speak for many others.

i was not aware the white pride was bad You are right to an extent. The klan is a joke, a bunch of inbred morons. The neo-nazis also seem more than willing to be represented by some less than charismatic individuals. But they are really no worse than your average uneducated, blame everything on "whitey", wanna be militant black.I am proud to be white!!! We after all, came thru the plague like champs, rocked the whole planet time and time again. Ever heard of the Kelts, the Romans, the Greeks, or maybe the Vikings? Yea so we did a few bad things, we did a lot of good things also. If you are so ignorant that you doubt all this ill gladly give you some history lessons for 10 points

a. People have to realize that not everyone who supports White pride is a member of the KKK or a neo-Nazi group. People that do this are stereotyping; they are similar to the people that claim that because the majority of illegal immigrants are "Latino" all "Latinos" must be illegal immigrants. (Although, on another note, I have a feeling that the same people in the first category are the ones that are strongly against people in the second category.)
b. I don’t expect minorities to celebrate White Pride. At the same time, why should Whites be forced to learn about Black Pride, “Black History“, “Black Historical Figures”, etc.? (Many schools put specific focus on these topics during “Black History Month”.)

Why do some people blame minorities for not "celebrating white pride"? In my experience, and I have had a lot of experience dealing with these so-called "white pride" whites (for research purposes), most of the white people who do that, who blame minorities for not "celebrating" it, have what amounts to a racist / separatist agenda of their own. They are merely using the "it's not hate, it's just pride" type of thing to cover what their truest deepest feelings in fact are. That has been my experience of those types of white people at least.

Why don't some whites realize the KKK, etc, ruined white pride for them? You're right; such groups DID essentially ruin any real chance of "white pride" being "celebrated" for them. Usually nowadays, as I just said, whenever you run into one of these (and they are relatively few overall, bear in mind) white people who talk a lot about "white pride" they are in fact racists and separatists at base.

Their position is a purely reactionary one, and essentially quite simplistic and childish ; a reaction against "political correctness" (which , admittedly, sometimes does get out of hand), and against the mentality of fear which so many of these "white pride" kind of people in fact have. Fear of changing demographics where they live, fear / dislike of others who are not like them, and so on and so forth. It's nothing new. It's one of the oldest things in the book, in fact. Today it's marginalized however, and white people who are separatists, openly racist, and so on, do not find themselves accepted or even given a voice by the mainstream. They therefore live as "outcasts", basically. The vast majority of average whites don't even want anything to do with them.

Why should I be proud of being white?

It's not anything I did.

The accomplishments of other white people are no reflection on me.

The only reason for minority pride is as a counter-action to having been made to feel shame for their ancestry.

The answer isn't to respond with a silly "white pride" -- eventually it will all go away.

It simply makes no sense.

Proud of what?

If I'm to feel pride for what everyone who was white ever did, do I have to feel shame for every scuzzy thing they did?

Seems silly to me.

"White pride" wasn't ruined by anyone. It falls of its own weight.

This LAYING ON of Guilt at the door of ALL White People
seems to be another in a series of Black radical views
and comes from a place that THEY do not want to share in----
For IF THAT BE THE CASE---that these groups "ruined" the case for White's Pride in themselves----why would not such things as the Tribal wars in Africa and the genicide rendered on one tribe over another --- the gang killings and wars of this present day---let alone the FACT that it was one tribe concouring another and selling them into slavery THOUSANDS OF YEARS BEFORE THE SLAVE TRADE IN AMERICA that was at the heart of Black Slavery to begin with----NOT BE A SOURCE OF DETERENT TO THE "BLACK PRIDE THING" ???

Also, the "laying on" on Neo-Nazi stuff on the doorstep of ALL people of the white race is a little akin to blaming ALL Jews for the murder of Christ----IT JUST DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT with anyone that has any sense at all----blame lies where the guilt is---with THE PEOPLE WHO COMMIT SUCH ACTS---NOT ON THE RACE and certainly not on generations FAR REMOVED FROM THOSE ACTS !!!!!!

The KKK didn't ruin white pride for me. I don't agree with what they do, but I am a proud white person! I should be allowed to show pride in my race without being called a racist. I don't know why I am called a racist for being proud to have white skin! I never look at black people who are proud and think they are racist. It pisses me off so much to read all racist Caucasians should read this and answer, what about all racist blacks? Maybe they should think about how damn insensitive and racist it is to put us down and not allow us to be proud to be white!

I have pride for the Human Race as a whole. Not "white" pride as you call it. Why, if you are focusing on the bad, did the Genocides in Africa not smear the connotation of "black" pride?
