That's a H2O on the product side, not H2. Ethanol + oxygen ----> acetaldehyde + water

2CH3CH2OH + O2 ---> 2CH3CHO + 2H2O

Count the number of specific elements on each side and use least common multiples to determine the lowest number needed to balance each side's elemental composition.

However, unless you start going into fractions, this equation doesn't appear to be balanceable due to the oxygens.

Well first off, your equation doesnt make sense, its a combustion
and H20 or CO2 is not a product
