ethene burns in sufficient/excess oxygen:
C2H6 + 3.5O2 ---> 2CO2 + 3H2O
(note that since oxygen is O2, you can have half of it in equations...similarly you can have 0.5Br2 or 0.5I2 (iodine))
if ethene is burnt in insufficient oxygen, then CO (carbon monoxide) will be formed...
the products for all hydrocarbons (compounds consisting of only carbon and hydrogen) when burnt in oxygen is CO2 and H2O, because only C and H are there to be 'oxidised'.

With sufficient oxygen: -
C2H4 + 3O2 = 2CO2 + 2H2O
Ethene, + Oxygen, = Carbon Dioxide, + Water
Insufficient oxygen: -
C2H4 + 2O2 = 2CO + 2H2O
Ethene, + Oxygen, = Carbon Monoxide, + Water

CH2=CH2 +3 O2 -->2 H2O + 2CO2
ethene + oxigen--> water + carbon dioxid in conditions of complete combustion
in incomplete combustion, can form CO and C

All hydrocarbons when burned in oxygen produce CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2O (water) and, of course, heat.
