I just recently installed a dvd burner onto my computer and I am now trying to burn a dvd. I installed the trial version of Nero 7 on my computer and I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to RIP the dvd onto my computer, and then BURN the files onto a blank disc. If someone could tell me how to do this it will be greatly appreciated.

go to nero smart start
then choose cd or dvd in the top right of the new window
use the icons across the screen to decide what u wanna make
hold the mouse over to find out what they do
choose one
for example dvd as u wanted
click the Burn DVD video files button
nero express pops up

click add to open your video files
go to where u have the video clip stored and select it
it will then be on the list in the center

I would not use nero to rip, I have never been able to get it to do that. I would use "DVD decryptor", then burn those files to disk. Which is completely illegal.

Putting DVD's on your HDD for your purspose only and not sharing them is ok. But copying them to a another dvd is harder to prove in court you had no intent to sell it.
