if the battery is really low and you charge it, it will take 30 min for anything to happen

If the reset doesn't work, make an appointment with a genius in the apple store. I had the same issue and they had to replace mine. Sorry, I don't remember the specifics of what was wrong.

It might turn on if you hold down the menu part of the click wheel, if that doesnt work try the same with the middle button, i dont remember which one it was, but it worked for me.

omg...dont listen to anybody except me...they are idiots..
first..plug it into an AC adaptor( the thing that plugs into ur wall so u can charge)
they hold down the center and menu button for about 7 seconds....it will reset

if you connect it and nothig goes on, then there should be a problem with your ipod, try letting it connected to the computer for half an hour or maybe connect it to a power outlet in the wall with the adapter (if you have one) to see what happens

try reseting it i think you turn hold on and off and then hold middle button and the top button for 10 mins and a apple should appear on the screen.hope this helps.

Sell your iPod. iPods, while trendy, are absolute paperweights. I owned one for about 1 month before I learned you can't do anything with them. I sold it.
