Do no turn it on again. Open it up so the guts are exposed and dry it out completely. I guess you can try using a hair dryer but don't put it on a very hot setting. Make sure it is completely dry before putting it back together, then try turning it back on. If that doesn't work - you'll have to get a new one.

In all likelihood it's gone. You can try the troubleshooting section of the manual and you can try taking it to an Apple store, however, it's most likely finished.
