These are the things she has done so far: She always stays at her boyfriend's apartment every night, which is fine. However, she comes home every morning at 5 or 6 AM to take a shower, brush her teeth, and change. Whenever she comes back, she slams the front, room the bathroom, and the closet doors, even if it is 5 AM. She turns on ALL the lights when she gets into the room, but never turns off any of them when she leaves. When she cooks in the kitchen, she leaves dirty pots and dishes on the counter and stove, with food still stuck on to it. After several days, when she finds time to clean them, she just dumps them into the dishwasher without rinsing the dried food off first. The dishes come out with food stuck on to it. She only uses the dishwasher for her own dishes, even though there are only 5 dishes in there and everyone shares the bills. She took back everything she brought to share, but continues to use the things everyone else brought. What can I do?

Talk to her, tell her that although you're both young people and you know she's not always staying home, she should consider you guys a little bit more. Explain in good terms that it's not polite to slam doors at 5 am, and that it's more than just a pet peeve for you. Separate her stuff and talk about the sharing rules in your place. If you're more than one, arrange an appointment to discuss why things aren't working. If everything fails, you're in your right of requesting her to leave her room.

If you have more than one roomate, you guys need to get together and come up with a plan to confront this person about their behavior. If she was the one who originally rented the place, this may be a sticky situation. You must sit down with her her and let her know this is rude, and as a courtesy to you all, she must cease and desist. If she continues with this behavior, you must all let her know when the the lease is up, you will not be inviting her to stay. I would also inform the property management there is a problem, so that whatever you decide to do, they are aware of the situation.

You can't solve this problem if you already tried to reason with her. She is gonna do whatever the hell she wants. If you live in a dorm on campus: the university may have some sort of an intervention program for this kind of behavior. Other than this, give up and don't live there if she does next year.

Have a suggestion box..no names please... then once a week take them out and read them.. Then address the issues with all in attendance.
If you really do like her but just not what she is doing.. then put up sticky notes on everything..
on each door "SHUT QUIETLY PLEASE"
next to light switch. "LAST IN ROOM SHUT OFF PLEASE".
in kitchen "CLEAN UP IMMEDIATELY"
in different places.. "DO NOT USE MY STUFF WITHOUT PERMISSION signed Glenda"
So on and So Forth....
With the sticky note there should be a price to pay.. like 25 cents per each thumbs down time. Place the quarters in a jar and then use that money to buy things like dish soap / toilet paper ... for the shared item expenses.
Just another way to go with this... might take the aggravation of her not being a thoughtful roommate.
Or You can KISS (keep it simple sweetie) it and just kick her hiney out.
GOOD LUCK

Time for a new roommate. The two of you need to sit down and decide who is going to move. If the two of you have a lease discuss the problem with the landlord.

Take a dump and don't flush it. Piss her off till she moves out. Hide stuff on her, yours and hers. Change the lock, oops sorry. Use morning breeze in her room. Tell her she is an idiot and she should find a place to move to, kick her out. Call her names all the time till she can't take it no more, hey you might be the bi tch but she is gone.

Move or ask her to move. If you have other housemates, arrange for a house meeting to "generally" address your grievances, even though you and the others will know that all are directed toward Her. Then, if she still acts like a bad roommate, give her the boot.

Have a house meeting and tell her all your issues. If she does not improve, then start looking for someone to move in and replace her. Let her know that she has 1 month to improve or she's out.

Sit her down with everyone and talk to her. If you need to have a fight to resolve it, then you wouldn't be the first. Otherwise, you might need to kick her out or change yourself. Otherwise, just pressure her gently to change (or not so gently if that doesn't work.)
