The only way to please a man is if he is into sports buy both of you some tickets to one of his favorite sporting events and favorite team and then after that go home and have a wonderful dinner for two.

Answer: TICKETS TO HIS FAVORITE SPORTING EVENT!

Even if you don't like the event act like you do and try to get into it because then he you will enjoy it more!

What did you do for him in the past? This past year, I gave my fiance a red nano iPod and a weekend away in another city to go see an NHL game (he likes hockey but has never been to an NHL game). For another birthday, I gave him a gift certificate for two to a day spa (for a private hot tub and sauna room visit). We had aching bones from skiing and he loved that gift. Another year, we were both working a lot of of overtime and instead of going out to a nice dinner, I ordered a Waiters On Wheels fancy French meal with wine to be delivered to our home. That was a great surprise for him -- and the food was excellent.

I like to surprise my guy with the gifts that I give. They don't have to be expensive, or even well-planned. I try not to give him things like socks, but things that would "spoil" him. Good luck!

You are celebrating the day he was born, so a nice touch could be to try and get a copy (or facsimile) of a newspaper of that day, either local or national. Someone did that for me and then, as they're fairly creative/loony made out on the computer a mockup news item announcing my birth, like a regular news item and fixed/stuck it in one of the columns of the actual edition then copied it etc and had it framed. I was pretty bowled over !

Surprise him with a planned romantic trip/day. I don't know what budget you really looking at and what age group your bf is, perhaps some fancy resort might be a good deal of quality time for the two of you.

You could even plan an evening out with some of his close friends and throw him a nice surprise.

Take a trip to the (NEW) Orange County Choppers shop in New york, it's brand new and HUGE, it has a place for people to take a tour and walk around and look through the glass and watch the show being filmed. Great weekend trip great idea have fun!

my bf of two years bday is also coming up. I told himhe coudl choose, I'd either make him whatever he wants for dinner or we could go out to his choice. I'm still trying to figure out what to get him.

Maybe you can get a nice watch engraved or make a scrapbook for him (if he would like that sorta thing, my guy wouldnt)

Get him A Zippo lighter ( if he uses a lighter often that is) and get it engraved with sumin sweet. Or a key-chain,ring,whatever he's into. I tell ya, even the simplest of gifts are way way better when they're engraved.

Well depending on what "type" of guy he is, you could either get him tickets to a show of his liking...such as monster truck rally....or country music concert.....or (eww) hip hop concert....or you could buy a small gift (wrap it) then put it in a bigger gift (wrap it) then put it in a bigger gift (wrapped)...my wonderful man did this for me for christmas...started with a leather coat, in the pocket was another wrapped gift; a pair of nice leather gloves, and in the right glove was another wonder gift...a pair of ruby earrings. :-) Whatever your heart desires...he will like.
