How can I get all the broken slivers of glass off my floor?

HELP! I swept and vacumed and swept and we still keep stepping on glass. Thanks.

Use a piece of white bread and blot the floor area, you will need to go over the area a few times. It really works, I have done it.

First use fresh slices of white bread and blot the area (don't rub or wipe - just use up and down motions). Next, I would take duct tape and do the same motions. Next - take a balloon - blow it up and rub it over the floor - if there is a tiny sliver of glass - the balloon with pop - and you can then find your sliver of glass. It may take several balloons.

If it's a wooden floor try sweeping a piece of bread over it. Something about the bread just gets all the little slivers. If it's a carpeted floor, get a professional cleaner to go at it.

On the kitchen floor after vacuuming I get down on my knees, a pad under them and with a towel sweep up all areas and empty it in the bucket. When I have done that I will wash the floor with Murphy Oil soap. ON carpet, keep vacuuming again and again. There too it helps to get down and see if there are still any shards left. Wear rubber gloves while doing it, your floors will be very clean, and you will know that you are safe.

Yikes! Try running a lint roller or strips of duct tape over the area.

How about a damp towel or damp swifer towel... I'm guessing here. I would think that the glass will stick to the moist towel.

It takes forever. Just keep vacuuming until it's all gone.....eventually. In the meantime, make sure you wear shoes!

You could use big strans of tape, tape the area, then pull-up
the tape !!!!!!
