Find the rate of DNA synthesis?

To determine the rate of DNA synthesis in cells, you can provide them with a radioactive nucleotide and watch the rate at which the cells add the radioactive nucleotide into DNA. To most accurately find the rate of DNA synthesis, which nucleotide should you use - A,T,C,G,or U (uracil)? Why?

Any of A, T, C, or G will work, all four are found in DNA. U (uracil) is only found in RNA.
