& for the Aster question:

Microtubules extend from the centrosomes in a radial array that is called the ASTER and they aid in pulling the chromosomes apart.

It is the First phase of mitosis called Prophase.
Next, The aster are the first short microtubles emerging from centrioles, giving the centriole somwhat star shape,------later, the asters develop into spindle, which is called mitotic apparatus.
