NexTag.com states the torch is "Easy to refill with butane fuel (Butane Not Included)." KitchenUniverse.com states, "Fills easily with butane."
Where did you get it filled when your purchased it, as it comes empty? Take the empty cylinder with you to a store in your area and ask for help. Good luck!

Cooking stores sell a mini butane torch that would work for caramalizing the brulee. They are not expensive.
