For some reason, it's not working right. I usually just dragged my library files to my IPod (this is on iTunes 7). Also, I noticed this little 'lock symbol' at the botom of the page. Can someone tell me what that means? Thanx

I think that the lock switch has been activated. This is the little tiny switch at the top of the iPod...try flipping it in the other direction.

Sell your video iPod on eBay and use the money to buy an Archos 604 wifi. It is a decade ahead of Apple portable music.

Apple is a toy company and sells 3rd rate products as if they were 1st rate and only a fool would buy them.

iTunes is a complete rip off, the files are generally poor quality for a high price, Yahoo music is a much better deal and so is allofmp3.com

the dirty little secret is that they are all selling you something that is actually free. Get a TV tuner card (get one with both analog and HDTV) for your computer and you can legally record all the videos you want for free, and the software that comes with the tuner card will automatically record it in a file format that your player can use.

(the lock allows the player to remain on the setting you chose so accidental pressing of the buttons will do nothing until you unlock the device.)
