It totally depends on the circumstance. If I'm just hungry, or have somewhere to be, then A. But if I'm on a date with my wife, or just having diner with some friends, then I would rather have the time, and a nice waiter/waitress to help keep the evening pleasant.

I would say both actually. Now a days Id pick A but here is the thing. If youre on a date and you want to spend some time with them then B would be a good way to go. You could sit there and talk over the waiting time and get to know each other better. However, if youre with a bf/husband what not that you see all the time then pick A. Can in and get your food so we can go home. Most of the time I go to a restuarant Im starving and I can just take out of the tip for their rude behavior.

Ok this depends on your culture or family style. I would take choice B. That is if with family and friends because eating out is a social event that shouldn't be over right away. The long waits give time to chat and spend time together. And you would order an appetizer so your not starving the entire time.
I'm about to move to Italy where dinner usually takes a few hours from what I'm told because it's all about socialization. Don't go there if you don't like the wait.

I would choose A because i hate waiting to eat and pay too. I would also hate the fact that i came in their and spent my money only to receive attitude from the waiter. If it wasn't for my money he/she wouldn't be getting a check so id id like to be treated nicely especially if the restaurant is expensive. Im hoping too that my getting my food without that long of a wait doesnt mean my food is coming out cold because it was already cooked, sitting their awhile, and served to me. You feel me?

If i was by myself for a bite then A and if I was with friends or on a date I would pick B. I don't care how long things take if I am enjoying my company. This is why so many older married couples are always in a rush. They have nothing to talk about anymore. It's sad but annoying if you are the waiter.

A, certainly. I don't give a crap about the waiter's name, or how his mother is doing, and I don't have any particular interest in sharing my life story with him/her. I *don't* expect to be chased out of a place in 30 minutes though, especially if it's pricey; a waiter who tries that will lose his tip in a big hurry.

C: wait a short time and have good service. Why should I have to choose?

To me, to have to wait a long time is not good service.

B) When my husband and I actually do get the opportunity to dine out, we like the time it takes to be served. We talk about a lot things, catching up on what we have missed out on lately because of work and always in the company of our children. "B" gives us a chance to unwind and be together.

TO HAVE GOOD SERVICE DOESNOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO WAIT A LONG TIME TO GET SERVED OR SPEND HOURS IN A RESTRAUNT. I PERSONALLY PREFER PROMT SERVICE THAT GETS ME OUT IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES
