Hydroxylamine, NH2OH, reduces nitric oxide in what is known as comproportionation reaction (opposite of disproportionation):

2NO(g) + 4NH2OH(l) > 3N2(g) + 6H2O(l)

If the percent yield of N2 is known to be 59.1%, how many grams of H2O will be produced in the reaction between 2.39g of NO and 2.40g of NH2OH.

1. Calculate the molar mass of the two reactants and two products.
2. Find your limiting reagent using the balanced equation (reactant side).
3. Using your limiting and the balanced equation calculate 59.1% of of moles of water as a product.
4. Using molar mass (from 1) to change moles of water to grams.
