I posted this in the politics section as well. I'm an independent voter with no real party loyalty but do any Republicans get excited at the thought that some Senator Brownback is running for President? I'm assuming he's trying to catch Repub primary voters who are conservative and right of McCain & Guiliani. Are conservative Republicans think they got their guy in Brownback? Just wondering b/c I never heard of the guy til this week.

Brownback has zero chance of getting the nomination. You know who would be an interesting candidate though? Tom Ridge. Former governor of PA and Head of department of homeland security. I don't know what his economic policies are like though.

Well i'm not republican but i dont think Brownback has that great of a chance. I think McCain has it unless he does something to mess it up you know? i mean He'll run against a Democrat.

I'm worried about anyone from any party that is already 'excited' about any candidate for president.

No, because you Republicans are gonna lose like you did with the midterm elections! Its no surprise given that you have completely abandoned your roots with fiscal spending, and gov't intrusion in people's lives.
