I heard this on the radio and it was only a snippet of the conversation... they said the earth will be inhabitable in the next ten years due to global warming. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about it. I'm having trouble fathoming this. Maybe i'm in denial. hm.

The world will be habitable in ten years. There is no reason for it not to be. Even if global warming happened it wouldn't do anything thing that could effect humans exceept make less land or make it slightly colder. You hear about stuff alll the time about humans not surviving because of global warming, or and astroid, or some crap like that. If what anyone said like that was true humans would have died out a long time ago and we would have died thousands of times by now. The only thing that will ever effect the human race will happen in about a billion years when the sun expands into a red giant and engulfes the earth. Until then if your still worried you can go outside and start digging your grave if you like. :)

Do you mean uninhabitable? They have been saying that for the last hundred years. Every couple of years there is a new prediction for the destruction of earth and mankind. As far as global warming, its a completely natural cycle of warming and cooling that we have always had....ice age, warm period, ice age, warm period. The most notable warm period was during the Renaissance, which was the most productive and prosperous period until the recent warming period during the industrial revolution which started in the 1800's.
