Global Warming? It has been unseasonably cold here in Coastal Texas. Just wait, Feb is still to come. And this is only the first week of Jan. I remember the winter of 62 in Illinois. It was warm Christmas day and then in late Jan and Early Feb we barely made it to school. No snow days back then.

El nino. Global warming is just a theory. It hasn't been proven. Unless your Al Gore or an Earth Muffin. The temp has never stayed the same. Ice ages come and go.

The temperature was warmer 57 years ago or don't you watch the news. Global warming is not what people think it is. The earth's temperature and ocean temperature is cyclical. It has zip to do with global warming. I know it's not the politically correct answer, but it is the correct answer. Why is the hole in the ozone layer over the south pole when there is no population to pollute? I would think that major damage to the environment would happen in metroploitan areas, but outside of a little smog in L.A. there isn't much happening. Saving the environment? Nobody cares. If they did, why would people drive gas guzzling Hummers and SUV's? When people give those up, I'll believe people care.

I live in the Hudson Valley region of NYS . Today I picked up the paper and in it is a article in regards to the mild winter. The reason for these tempetures on the east coast is due to whats called a postive NAO.The NAO has started to display a postive configuration since Oct and mostly kept this way until now.A postive NAO also existed in January of 2006 ,thus the reason for little snow in that month last year. Then last year a negative NAO broke out in Feb ,that's the reason for heavy snows .

According to the U.S. weather bureau, El nino is causing it. I believe that's true. Watch the weather station there's a good report on it that shows the pattern and it's effect on our weather.

I think the problem is that people are breathing too much oxygen. When they exhale, they let out a lot of hot gases which over time has caused the average air temperature to increase. Since there is less oxygen, there is nothing to cool it back down again.

I believe it has something to do with sucking the oil out of the Earth. Oil cools, therefore taking more and more oil out the Earth has less oil to cool. Something has to cool something that rotates as fast as this planet does.
