How do you write a letter asking for vacation?

My mother is asking me to find on the internet...letters formal/informal asking their boss for vacation. I haven't been able to find any. Can anybody help? tnx

is there a website that has guidelines on how to write these kinds of letters?

you don't need to write a letter...vacation day are yours you don't need to ask for them you need to inform them when you want to take YOUR vacation days so they can plan
