Well, probably because they just don't want to believe that someone could be THAT stupid. They want a republican in office and don't realize that they're not getting a republican, they're getting an idiot.

Because we have the freedom to vote for whom we want. Too many people here beleive what the media wants you to beleive Not everything is as it seems. DO not try and debate that your choice is correct when you can not spell things out right. Many will not listen to what you have to say as they may think you are not an intelligent person with a valued opinion

I voted for him (in 2000) because I wanted him and not Al Gore to make appointments to the Supreme Court (if there were any vacancies to fill during that term, which, it turns out, there weren't.)

They know that he is a good person to lead this country and to have the sense to have a strong military in order to defend this country and to have the right people in his cabinet to make sure that the unemployment stays low and the economy is good, taxes are low and the revenues are high.

For the same reason they vote for people like John Kerry. They make a subjective assment of the principals and policys of a candidate, and choose the one that they believe will benifit them and their communities, form locak neighbourhoods upto their country.

I don't know, you'd have to ask them. Different people have different reasons for who they vote for. I can't think of too many people who do what they do for the exact same reason.

It is called the electoral process. There are many that run and one is selected by the party. He won the party nomination. Same as kerry winning the democrat party nomination. Then it is up to America to decide.
