They keep posting hiring ads in my newspaper and they want to schedule an interview but they are very secrative about the jobs...I guess they are nationwide and work in sales of sporting good equipment and household merchandise...any info please

I think a friend of mine worked for them once. He didn't make much money though since they pay by comission. They're looking for salespeople. My friend for instance would have had to sell knives if he didn't quit. If you think you can convince your friends, family, and acquaintances to buy household products and are inclined to perhaps you could make money. But it basically works the same as those elementary school candy sales.

I applied to them - it was really sketchy. The guy who interviewed me ended up knowing my family. He told me I wouldn't want to work for the company.

They intimate it is not door to door sales or telemarketing, but to be fair - I have no idea what it is that they do as I never got past that initial interview.

The interview in itself was bizarre - it was in a rented room with only a desk in it. Really low budget. I did not get good vibes from this in itself.
