What caused it?

i was in target over the holidays and it was getting close to closing time and this woman was waiting in line to check out and her young son, about 3 or 4 years old, was on the floor crying, i think out of plain and simple exhaustion. she picked him up by one arm and hit him so hard, told him to shut the hell up and threw him back on the floor and he started screaming even louder. i was absolutely shocked and did a double take. so i went and purposely stood in the line next to hers in case she did something like that again, i was going to extend the invitation to pick on someone her own size.

I was hung over and walking towards my car in the apartment parking lot.
A group of three people in their early 40s was walking along through the broken branches and pine needles in the lot (we had a HUGE wind storm).
Suddenly, out of nowhere, without anyone but me noticing, one of them dropped down into a push-up position right behind my car. And stayed there, hovering over the ground, amidst the branches and windblown crap. He was overly graceful, I might add.
I wanted to laugh or say something sarcastic, but I was too stunned and hung over... blank stare... he didn't acknowledge me staring, and his friends just kept walking.
He then just stood up (again, too gracefully) and walked away.
I blinked a few times and continued towards my car.

A couple of days ago, I went to eat a local restaurant. The server who introduced herself as Niki, was absolutely beautiful...I mean drop dead gorgeous...
and looked exactly like Katherine McPhee, from American Idol. After I caught my breath and told her that, she said she had been told that before, and
just could not figure out why, anybody thought that.

When I did something stupid and pissed off a friend. I had to do a double-take in the mirror to see if I was really that stupid.

When I saw an old friend's marriage announcement in the paper. She looked amazing! (not that she didn't before, she just looked more beautiful than ever, as all brides should be)

Yesterday afternoon--my exb/f pulled up behind me at a stop light in some old car (Not his) and he pulled down his baseball cap and kept sucking on a can of coke! lol
