How do you figure Afganistan is forgotten you tw*t. I got two brothers fighting there, so maybe it's forgotten to pissy pant little fa*gots like you, but not to the people who are willing to fight to release people from tyranny and oppression. Mummy not letting you go out doesn't count as oppression either. Learn some grammer and how to spell....stay in school....fool!

I think Iran and Korea could be in the firing line (pun intended) but there are a few other less obvious ones where things could develop in the next ten years.
It wasn't so very long ago that Saddam was our best pal buying all those lovely guns from us and the Yanks, the very ones he's used against our own boys.
There are quite a few dictators around, quite a few countries where Bush might want to start a fight and then run away when it really kicks off.
Your right in that Muslim countries are more likely in the sense that they seem to be a bit easier to upset these days, i think many see Muslims countries having a lot of power and anything that could cause a split would be beneficial to many other countries.
You can just imagine old George waking up tomorrow and thinking, 'Mmmmm, who don't i like today?'

Type in petrowars to your search engine and you will see the
next victim in the wars all about securing the last oil on earth.
The USA now have control of Iraq's oil,so it will be Iran's turn
next the wheels are already in motion(Iran apparently want
nukes so we have been told)does that sound familiar(Iraq)
This is obvious propaganda and that's how wars start.
You are missing the point,if you go to a country with certain
goals and you realise your goals.IE The USA and UK wanted
to control Afghanistan so they could secure the huge oil pipe
line running through it.JOB DONE
Iraq-The USA wanted to change the selling of Iraqi oil back to
dollars(because Saddam started selling Iraq's oil in euros) so
again they have got what they wanted and now control the
last oil producing country on earth.
And people say the USA have lost the war in Iraq.
I say if you go to war with a set of goals and you
achieve them,have you really lost?

Iraq is turning into a huge nightmare for the Bush Administration. If at all possible, Bush would get out asap.
Reality however, is that America is in for the long haul unless it could shamelessly and openly admit defeat and announce "Mission Abandoned!"
With over 3000 troops dead and countless wounded (and this is not counting the huge casualties suffered by the locals and some 300 coalition soldiers in body bags plus thousands also wounded) and expenditure of countless billions, Bush has to have something to show America and the World that his military (mis)adventure is worth the astronomical costs in lives and materiel.
Of course, his war has reaped and continue to offer, bountiful benefits to the oil companies and those in the military industrial complex; and in truth these are the real beneficiairies for whom the so-called war of liberation was started in the first place.
In the medium term, there is no way for America to extricate itself and indeed may throw in more troops to protect those who are already mired there.
America cannot depend on the Iraqis to do what it expects them to do and that is: give some semblance of being able to govern and protect themselves from the sectarian militias. In fact, it is almost all the American troops could do to try to make sure that they themselves (the Americans) could stay relatively safe in the land they have conquered but with a population they could not subdue, control or trust. Worse, the Iraqis do not seem to appreciate nor value the "democracy" which the Americans have brought along over such great costs.
Yes, Bush would like to get out but quick and FORGET Iraq but unfortunately for many months to come Iraq will refuse to be so easily forgotten. Just too bad!!!
As for who might be next to be hit militarily, I think no one at all, in spite of all the sabre rattling and hard talk. Bush would like to take on either Iran or North Korea but both of these countries are bad news.
I do not think America even with its military might, dare to take on the task as they did in Iraq and Afghanistan. The people in these two countries are definitely more united and committed when it comes to defence. Even more formidable is the fact that they would be ever willing to die for their land. Are professional soldiers or conscripts of America equally ready to lay down their lives to serve some political agenda concneived by a few persons? Highly unlikely, I think.
Another important consideration is that both these countries have nuclear arms and are unlikely to have qualms about lobbing some bombs onto American soil when they are attacked,
It is about time America reined in its hawkish intent and instead turned its energy inwards to see how its Government coulde do more for its own people in education, poverty eradication, improving the enviroment, etc besides taking on wider roles in the fight against poverty worldwide and be really active in peace-keeping in such places as Dafur.
If America can just use a fraction of the money it is now spending in Iraq on the items suggested, it will be seen as a more "normal" nation rather than as a war-monger as America now is.

Nothing for a few years, maybe even 5, as the political and public will in the states has gone. Iraq is turning into Vietnam, and I'd rather have fought in Vietnam than be in Iraq right now.

A little blood thirsty? Since Vietnam is still fresh in peoples memory, its going to take a lot longer to forget Iraq. On your point of who is next, if it is Iran, God help us all.

Only the idiots have forgotten that we're STILL in Afghanistan. I find it very sad that in scanning the answers to your question, only one other person has acknowledged this.
Iraq will not be forgotten either.
Who's next? Good question, good question......

It will not be Iran. Even though they are still persuing their nuclear ambitions. As soon as Iran announces that they have nuclear weapons, you can bet any money Israel will step in and destroy all of Irans nuclear facilities. Just like they did in Iraq when they destroyed that nuclear power station.
It's anyones guess I suppose.

Has nothing to do with Muslim or Christian or pagan. Has to do with OIL. So my guess is that Iran is next. No wonder they are desperately trying to go nuclear. If you had an 800 pound gorilla after you you'd want something to fight him off with, wouldn't you?

Poor old Cuba - they will be punished for NOT being swamped with US businesses - and feel the wrath of a cruel, heartless, evil invader (who then in turn would be wrecked by worldwide sanctions).
