ok i had a similar assignment last year
the endoplasmic reticulum is like your staircase
the vacuoles can be individual rooms.
the plasma membrane can be your door
the cytoplasm might be your carpet or floor i guess.
hmm thats all i can think of rigth now
and sorry i dont get the last part of ur question..

ok well then say that like your endoplasmic reticulum transports materials, the staricases allow you to move around your house
the plasma membrane lets certain things in and doesnt let others meaning your door will let certain people in and not others..it controls what enters and leaves ur house
then the carpet is like the cytoplasm because the organelles are suspended in it and the floor is where u guys and everything in your house sits on
then vacuoles store things so the rooms in your house or you can even say closets store things in your home
i cant think of one for DNA maybe the power in your house can be it and you can say that like the DNA controls all cell activities, the power in house house controls all other functions

good luck and hope this helped a bit..u know the person who wrote after me did a very stupid thing and recopied my answer but changed a few things to be funny...haha hilarious...how stupid. so i hope you pick up on that lol
