Ok i am working on my first progect for my advertising/marketing career, I am practicing right now but this could lead me to the career of my dreams, Ok i am making a design for a new Pepsi Can this is a big task and a big oppertunity, There are currently 25 people that have been asked to come up with the new design, and luckily i am one of those 25 people. ( oh and im letting you guys know what alo of other people dont know by the way) the new design has to be finished by january 20th, So i need some ideals for the new design i need my design to win it will really impress my mentor and could put me in the job of my dreams so does anyone have any good ideals? what would you guys like the new can to look like? im open to any suggestions!

Stick with same colors, tone and feel. Whatever you do even if it wins, won't stick with consumers for long (Unless your a genius of design or something) so go bold, don't think about the consumer, just impress the judges with originality.
If you even just get an honorable mention you'll get a good job out of it.
Work hard, and take frequent breaks, Good luck!

Wait, let me get this straight. You want to be a package designer and you've been given a class or some other training assignment to redesign one of the most iconic packages ever conceived - and your first thought is to ask a bunch of numbnut dorks on Yahoo for ideas?

Let me be blunt here. You are not a designer, you don't have the drive to be a designer and you should just hang it up now. Seriously. I work in this business and let me tell you, the best creatives follow their own instincts and invent their own world every single day of their lives. You're asking for permission, looking for someone else to show you the way.

You have two choices. Go your own way, or give it up. Now.
