The words you're asking about are in Pig Latin it's a trick "language," usually used by smart aleck kids to keep adults from understanding what they're saying. However, it can be fun (and hard at the same time) to learn and use. The way it's done is, take the first letter, sometimes the first two letters, and put them at the end of the word and add 'ay' to the word.
The "icksnay" you refer to is the word nix --meaning quit or stop whatever you're doing at the moment. So it would be spelled "ixnay" and "upidstay" is stupid...the st is put at the end of the word and ay added: upidstay.
When I was growing up, the boys used to rattle it off as fast as they could speak their regular language. It was a clue to me, and the adults, that they were up to something!!
