Yes! That is COMPLETELY possible. It's called a false pregnancy where your believing that you actually are pregnant can ignite the symptoms of pregnancy even to the point of weight gain and a missed period. My advice, *try* not to stress about it. Go over the pros and cons of being pregnant and it'll help you not to be so worried about it.
If you mentally prepare yourself for both outcomes, you'll reduce your stress level and be able to wait it out to see if you actually are or if you actually aren't.
They say that most women just know that they either are or they aren't, either way....just try not to worry too much about it. Good luck!!!

Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test: Order my pregnancy test

Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, or breast-feeding.

What is it you want us to do? I'm not sure what you're asking. Your body may have pregnancy symptoms, but it can't fool a test based on hormones. Take the darn test, and you can either rest easy or get stressed for a real reason instead of an imaginary one!

Yes, it is possible. Relax.... breathe.... and don't get mad at people who are trying to help you.

I don't know what symptoms you have, but they can be explained in some ways other than pregnancy.

Of course..... you are stressing, because you are worried about being pregnant. Look at it this way: If you are, you are. If you're not, you're not. You just need to wait a little longer to find out. Then deal with it one way or the other. Stressing helps nothing.

Best Wishes,

Sue
