Nope. I'm in the same boat as you - I cry at the most odd things and at the most odd times. I'd say on a regular week, I cry about 4 out of 7 days. Nothing you can do about it except do mental exercises to keep the tears down, like I've started doing. I just try to get my mind off of what I'm getting ready to cry about and think about something totally irrelavant.

Example: I have a terrible phobia of math and when I start to get overwhelmed by it, I just take a deep breath and start thinking about the most random thing I can come up with, like zebra or something. Might not work for you, but it works a little bit for me.

Well now i guess it would depend on how come you were crying all the time at the drop of a hat. That don't seem normal. And i think maybe you know why you are crying, if not go get some professional help. Either way go get professional help. That is the only really safe and sure way to find out why you are doing this , and to get it stopped saftely.

Merry Christmas

crying at the drop of a hat? You mean you are too sensitive or you have melancholia?
I hate when people say you had better take some tablets( that is always chemical) for your insomnia ,depression. If your mental prblem is not serious you do not have to take tablets. these chemical tablets do not help or only temprorily helps you . Even they help, they have always negative side effects.

We are humans
We were born with very complicated organs and brains which even today we do not fully understand. And above all we have souls. We are spiritual beings.
If you are too sensitive ,you need to look at yourself your inner soul .Sensitiveneness is in a way blessing.
You can feel more and better. But it can also hurt you.So you must learn to control your sensitiveness.
It can be your spiritual homework.Do not seek easy solution. Feel more and learn more.

You poor sweet. There is obviously a reason for this feeling, and if you know what it is - try to address it, either from counselling or talking with friends (they do wonders). For natural remedies, see a good Naturopath, who will take into account yourself as a whole. Cannot recommend one single thing here, except .. be kind to yourself and know that you are not alone - we all feel this way at times.

Try journaling. It gets all the emotions that are flowing out of you out of paper instead of locked inside of you to explode at all of the most inconvenient moments. St. John't Wort might help you as well...it is all natural. Exercise is always a great stress reducer. If it continues you should look into therapy or see a doctor to see what other options or if there are medical problems causing it. Good luck and know it can be better!

There probably is something you could take, but it might be even better to find out what's causing your tears in the first place. If your frequent crying truly distresses you, then you have every reason to see a doctor. Start with your GP. He or she should know what to do from there. Good luck and feel better.

Saint Johns wart. I do not know how old you are. It could be hormones. I would just start crying for no reason. Happy holidays.

you are sensitive and that is a wonderful quality.

Your crying could be different emotions such as happiness,
sadness, surprises and so forth.

I happen to like Ginger tea with a little something in it.....for
any reason.
