Yes! I've been watching him since well before he became a media darling. He's well-spoken, intelligent, and shares my political values. What's not to like?

Nah, ok he has a funny personality and I kinda like him to an extent even though I am a Republican but I don't think I agree with him enough to vote him in as President.
Although I certainly think he'd make a better President than Hillary Clinton that is for sure.
So if I did have to choose between Hillary and Barack well I would pick Barack for sure.
Of course in my State you have to swear you are a Democrat in order to vote in the Democratic Presidential Caucus, in fact I asked in 2004 cause although I voted Bush in 2004 I who voted Bush did semi back Liebermann not to say I definetly wanted Liebermann to actually become President but I semi-backed him in the Primaries as the Democrat who i'd rather be in the White House over top of other Democrats who were also running in 2004 in the Primaries and Caucuses.
I think the only way I would vote a Democrat into the White House would be if Bill Richardson was the Democratic nominee and John McCain the Republican nominee.
Im not fond of McCain but I would pick him over most Democrats any day especially over Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.
I prolly would pick McCain over Barack Obama unless Barack Obama picked Bill Richardson for Vice President.
Otherwise im definetly voting for a Republican for President in 2008 unless it is McCain Vs. Richardson or McCain-running mate vs. Obama-Richardson.

Let's be honest, most Americans who vote are white men or want white men.
A women or a black man hasn't got a chance and the Republicans are holding thier breath knowing this is their only salvation. The only one who has a chance of winning is John Edwards. If he doesn't run the Republicans will win.
Weither that is what anyone wants or not.
so think before you vote. If you want another Republican administration vote for a women or black man to run on the Democratic ticket

If he ran he would need some kind of a record of producing in his only term in the senate, something he is lacking. He has no experience for a job that traditionally is won by former governors. He is a super leftist with no record, no platform and no experience. That is three strikes, he's out!

He's made enough overtures to guarantee that he will seek the Democratic nomination.
Of course, there's no telling how internal party politics will influence a run against Hillary Clinton. Though, I think most analysts would agree that he should strike while the iron is hot, and he has a huge PR momentum at this point.
I would consider voting for him, he seems adept at bringing some cohesion back into American society.

I will not vote for him based on his views. He is not one who will be strong for the country and can lead us into the future. It spite of what he SAYS to the public, he supports a lot of liberal programs that are damamging the country. He's also very arrogant, condescending and does not have enough experience.

If I knew more about him. But so far, we do not know what he stands for, what his positions on various issues are. It would also be a good idea to know who will be his advisors. Bad advice has cost several presidents dearly. Let's wait for awhile before I commit one way or the other. Thank you for asking.

He would have to win the Democratic Presidential nomination first, and John Edwards is WAY ahead of him at this time, so the people that vote for him will probably be the people that vote for him... for Senator... if he is up for re-election. Its way too soon for this kind of speculation.

Why? 'Cause he's flavor of the month?
AP has an article on why Obama may not appeal to all blacks. Seems like whites are the ones fawning all over him, because of the media star treatment.

definite I voted for Obama and that i will vote for him back because he has performed an excellent pastime with what he had and that i did not anticipate an finished fix for most, many years. i'd say that I frequently vote for Democrats in a nationwide election considering with the help of the time someone receives on a nationwide cost ticket they have extremely nicely popular their political philosophy, i'd besides the indisputable fact that, vote for a average Republican over a conservative Democrat. In community elections i'm a lot extra in all probability to vote bypass get at the same time. the numerous positives: exceeded the stimulus invoice that maximum economist economist credit with staving off yet another melancholy and turning out to be thousands of thousands of jobs exceeded the finance reform invoice, even though it had to be watered down as a fashion to attain approval, that is a step interior the right course exceeded mastercard reform Took the for-earnings banks out of the student personal loan application freeing up a lot extra money for school scholars. replaced into courageous sufficient to take a stance for marriage equality exceeded what we now call "Obamcare." at the same time as it too replaced into watered down from what it ought to were, that's an important step in taking us in course of the fashionable international of customary health care. Ended maximum of our involvement in both Iraq and Afghanistan replaced into instrumental in organising the $2 billion "Gulf relief fund" after the BP spill -- a fund that BP is now touting daily on television. Ended the downward spiral in both the inventory market and jobs. tried his superb to artwork with Republicans to come back up with bipartisan options. negatives: tried too difficult to artwork with Republicans at the same time as, from the very initiate, they vowed to do each little thing of their power to make him fail might want to were extra proactive in letting the Bush tax cuts expire Signed an extension of the very unpatriotic "Patriot" act replaced into not ambitious sufficient in his fix act that many economist recommend replaced into not just about sufficiently massive -- considering he knew truly rapidly that he does not get any Republican help, he would besides have lengthy gone finished-out with a "New Deal" type application and we may nicely be a lot extra alongside on our highway to fix. He has not been just about aggressive sufficient in publicizing his accomplishments. Silence and modesty at the on the spot are not efficient guns antagonistic to good wing propaganda. l
